We believe creativity knows no bounds, and that means taking something as classic and loved as Knorr and creating a kick ass collaboration.
We had Knorr partner with Kristen’s Kick-Ass Ice Cream and together we created Kick-Ass Knorr Ice Cream. We reimagined Knorr’s iconic flavours into a range of bold, savoury ice cream flavours, just in time for the hot summer months.
After plenty of brainstorming, testing, and tasting, we came up with a bold lineup of ice cream flavours that captured the essence of Knorr’s best-known soups:
1. Chakalaka – A fiery, bold, spicy ice cream that brings the bold flavours of a South African classic straight to your taste buds.
2. Cream of Mushroom – A rich, creamy, and savoury ice cream that blends smooth textures with the earthy flavour of mushrooms.
3. Minestrone – A hearty, veggie-packed flavour that brings the wholesome goodness of minestrone soup into a cool, icy treat.
To introduce our Kick-Ass Knorr Ice Cream to the world, we hosted an exclusive Knorr x Kristen’s Kick-Ass Ice Cream Pop-Up in Cape Town during the peak of summer. This was the perfect opportunity for people to try the flavours firsthand and experience the bold, savoury goodness that only Knorr could deliver.
The unexpected success of this collaboration helped Knorr stay top-of-mind, not just during winter, but all year round. And that, to us, is what truly makes this campaign a success. Knorr was no longer just for winter—it became a year-round flavour sensation.
